My junior year, well it has been a roller coaster. It has had its ups and downs. It has defiantly been one to remember. Thinking back, my freshmen year, I did pretty well in school. I managed to make all the deadlines. It was a bit rough my second semester because, for a month, I was just not into school. I had my own problems. My parents would try to motivate me to do better but I was ignorant. After a while I finally said fine I would do it. About a month before the school year ended, I got back on my feet. Luckily I did all my work fast enough to be able to pass all 7 of my classes, some even with a level 4. My sophomore year, I was determined to stop being so caught up in my own bubble so I told myself I was going to get more involved in school. I joined ASB and I tried hard at my studies. By the second semester I was doing rather well in my classes although I didn’t do so well in science. Obviously, over the years I discovered that science was not my strongest subject. I struggle a little but I know that I have tried my hardest to pull through. I feel like my sophomore year, I really did so a lot for school. I would participate in many activities and I would volunteer. For example I would volunteer to go to the football games, even on the away games, to go take pictures for the yearbook. I would also take videos for an organization for the city. They would use these videos to give a taste of what the Lindsay High School football team was like. They also used these videos to replay them and see where the players can improve. I also participated in the haunted house and many other things. The school year ended well. This year has been different. I thought it would be like any other year, I was wrong. This year has opened so many doors for me. It is also a lot more work, which I am not used to. At the beginning, I had a tendency to always procrastinate everything. I thought that all these teachers were moving way too quickly but in reality I was just moving too slow. I got on track and have been trying very hard to stay on top of it. Every day is a new assignment. Yes, of course sometimes I get busy but I have made my studies my main priority. I have realized so many things and I have defiantly changed. I feel like I see things from different perspectives. I have learned so much this year both in and outside of school, things that will help me in the future and if not in the future, now. But the year has yet to end and I still have another semester, not to mention I also have my senior year to go, more opportunities to learn and every day is something new.
